website has been constructed to help the members
of our Martial Arts Club, record their journey
for the world championships.
At
the Blackpool Karate and Kickboxing Club,
we believe that competition is a great opportunity
for our students. As a former world champion
and coach, I've seen great improvement in
the skill, confidence and attitude from the
regular tournament competitors. We are proud
of our students achievements and from their
dedication, wins and defeats believe that
it is a sure path to help them reach their
personal potential.

Andre has been
training at the club since we opened. He
works hard and has competed in a number of tournaments
within the UK, including WUMA, FSK and a number
of smaller local competitions.

Naomi is
a Green Belt and has a fantastic attitude towards
training. Hard working and cheery, she'll
keep the trio from Blackpool 'in check' at the
world championships. Naomi has had a number of
wins at competitions including WUMA, a future
star of freestyle Karate.

Sam has been
training since he was 5 years old. He enjoys
competing and has won medals at the FSK and WUMA
competitions. He enjoys training in both Karate
and Kickboxing. Sam will be the youngest competitor
at the World Championships in Germany.

This
is the website of the students from the Blackpool
Karate and Kickboxing Club, who will be competing
at the WKA World Championships in Germany (2007).
Coached by Lee Douglas and Gill Reid, they train
regularly throughout the Blackpool area. If you
